Steve, Damien and the team renovated a house for us while we lived overseas, and it speaks volumes for their professionalism that the project went without a hitch despite us being first-time developers and not having set foot on site! They managed to turn a pokey 10-bedsit house into a beautiful family home in just 5 months from start to move-in.
That went so well that when we bought a derelict school to redevelop as a new home, we re-hired them without hesitation. This was an even larger project but P1 were equally reliable. they have unwavering attention to detail, really strong engineering expertise and a genuine passion for restoring homes to their best.
I love that Project1 are big enough to handle every crazy request we throw at them, but small enough that you get direct access to the founders of the company and the accountability that goes with it. " In 2013 I acquired a seven bedroom Victorian villa in Ealing - beautiful outside but a wreck inside. I held a beauty parade of West London 'Design and Build' agencies and appointed Project 1.
They proved to be friendly, professional, tolerant, tight on the budget and fast. On an 8 month build with any number of surprises (including a whole new roof and back elevation) they ended one week late and on budget. I have subsequently used the team on a larger and more complex project with the same result.

" Searching for and selecting a design and build company is never an easy task and when you live 6000 miles away it takes on a completely new dimension.
We initially chose Project 1 for their incredible enthusiasm and willingness to engage a client they had only met via phone and e mail. In short we felt valued from the very first interaction.
We are now at week 19 of a complete refurbishment of a detached Victorian house in Ealing and move in during week 20.
The Project 1 team have delivered us a high quality finish at least 6 weeks ahead of schedule and on budget.
Damien and Steve with their Project team carefully understood our requirements and consistently gave us ideas and suggestions to help achieve the desired outcome whilst always remaining conscious of our budget constraints.

" I first worked with Steve and Damien in 2013 when they helped me to completely refurbish a Victorian house in Ealing. The work undertaken by Project 1 was extensive and included remodelling the internal floor space, replacing all flooring, creating new bathrooms, installing new wiring and plumbing throughout, building a new ground floor extension and completing all internal and external redecoration.
This was the first time I had undertaken such a large project and having a single team that could take responsibility for almost all of the work was a major plus for me. Perhaps more to the point, all of the work was completed on time, on budget and to a very high standard.
Since then, I have used Project 1 on a number of smaller projects and they have always been a pleasure to deal with; prompt, flexible and with the work always completed to a very high standard.

" Project 1 We worked with them on our house in chiswick complete revamp along with their interior designer Vala. A big project, basement ,side extension, external extension the final result was just as we pictured.
Steve and Damien where always around making sure that everything was going to plan, especially Damien who I called probably every second !!! Any complications they where there to sort it out. We had our ups and downs like any major renovation but always sorted it out.

" Project1 restored our 3 storey Victorian terraced townhouse back to a family home after 20 years of shared renters in 2008. This project required a complete redesign and rebuild of most of the house (except front and back walls) from its foundations right up to the attic conversion.
Project1 showed themselves to be extremely understanding of our requirements and ensured these were discussed and incorporated as the project unfolded. They had a professional and courteous manner, and (as time has shown) delivered a high quality product within what I deemed to be a very short time frame.
They were so good in fact that we brought Project1 back in again last year to add an additional bathroom for us ;- for which they had already routed the water pipes in 2008 "just in case".
